Outpost is a personal tool. It is built, deployed, and used by a single individual to run their own AI agents and automations. It is not a public service, and it is not offered to, or intended for use by, anyone other than its operator.
Outpost collects the data needed to run the operator's own agents, including Google account data authorized by the operator — Gmail messages, Google Calendar events, and Google Drive files — along with agent configurations, conversation history, run logs, and any connected account credentials or tokens the operator sets up.
This data is used exclusively to power the operator's personal AI agents — reading and drafting emails, checking and managing calendar events, and reading or organizing Drive files — running locally on the operator's own server, on the operator's own instructions. It is never used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than fulfilling the operator's own requests to their own agents.
All data used by Outpost is stored locally, in the operator's own self-hosted database and file storage on a personal server. It is never stored in the cloud, and there is no separate hosted or multi-tenant backend.
Data is not sold, shared, or transmitted to third parties. All processing happens locally on the operator's own server, with one exception: calls to the large language model API (OpenCode Go) that powers the agents' reasoning. Those calls receive only the specific content explicitly passed to them for a given request — for example the text of an email being drafted — never a standing copy of the operator's Google account data, and are made directly by the operator's own instance using the operator's own credentials.
Outpost has a single user — its operator — who has full control over all data it holds: what is collected, how it is used, and when it is deleted. No other party has any access to, or rights over, this data.
Data is retained for as long as the operator chooses, until it is manually deleted by the operator — whether an individual record, a revoked account connection, or the entire Outpost instance and its database.
Outpost has a single operator and is not intended for use by other people. Any questions about this policy should be directed to kylesotiris@googlemail.com.
